Update: Thammasat University has discussed an academic collaboration with Soka University, Japan and OIA Bids Farewell to Inter-Students Semester 2/2024

Thammasat and Soka enhance academics ties.

     On 6 May 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreedee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Affairs, welcomed Mr. Hiroki Shimoide, Administrative Director at the Global Core Center of Soka University in Japan, along with the Center’s Manager and Liaison officer, during their visit to Thammasat’s Rangsit campus. 

     The Soka University delegation delivered an insightful presentation outlining the university’s key initiatives and the role of its International Affairs Office. During the meeting, Miss Patcharin Prajsuchanai was introduced as the new Liaison Officer at the Thammasat–Soka Liaison office.

     Currently, Soka and Thammasat enjoy a robust partnership at both the institutional and faculty levels, particularly with the Faculty of Liberal Arts. Discussions focused on strengthening existing student exchange programs under the current agreement and exploring opportunities to increase the number of participating students in both directions.

     The Soka representatives also provided updates regarding their newly appointed Rector and the upcoming annual seminar in collaboration with Thammasat’s Faculty of Liberal Arts. Additionally, they extended a cordial invitation to Dr. Supreedee to visit Soka University of America, located in Aliso Viejo, California, during his upcoming participation in the NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference & Expo in San Diego County.

     รศ. ดร.สุปรีดี ฤทธิรงค์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ให้การต้อนรับและหารือกับ Mr. Hiroki Shimoide, Administrative Director ประจำ Global Core center พร้อมด้วยผู้จัดการศูนย์ และเจ้าหน้าที่ประจำศูนย์ประสานงานธรรมศาสตร์-โซกะ มหาวิทยาลัยโซกะ ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ระหว่างการเยือนมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ศูนย์รังสิต เมื่อวันที่ 6 พฤษภาคม 2568

     ผู้แทนจากโซกะ นำเสนอข้อมูลสำคัญเกี่ยวกับมหาวิทยาลัย และบทบาทหน้าที่ของฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ซึ่งระหว่างการหารือได้มีการแนะนำ คุณพัชรินทร์ ปราชญ์สุชนัย ผู้ประสานงานประจำศูนย์ธรรมศาสตร์-โซกะ คนใหม่

     ทั้งสองฝ่ายหารือการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในระดับมหาวิทยาลัยและในระดับคณะ โดยปัจจุบันเป็นคู่สัญญากับคณะศิลปศาสตร์ และได้หารือประเด็นสำคัญในการสนับสนุนการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาภายใต้ข้อตกลงความร่วมมือปัจจุบัน รวมถึงการหารือแนวทางการเพิ่มจำนวนนักศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยนทั้งขาเข้าและขาออก

     นอกจากนี้ ฝ่ายโซกะ ได้แจ้งข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับการเข้ารับตำแหน่งของอธิการบดีคนใหม่ และแจ้งความคืบหน้าเกี่ยวกับการจัดงานสัมมนาวิชาการประจำปี โดยร่วมกับคณะศิลปศาสตร์ อีกทั้งได้เชิญ รศ. ดร.สุปรีดี ฤทธิรงค์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ เยือนและเยี่ยมชม Soka University of America ตั้งอยู่ในเมือง Aliso Viejo

OIA Bids Farewell to Inter-Students Semester 2/2024

     On 8 May 2025, The Office of International Affairs (OIA) hosted a lively and heartfelt “Summer Vibe” Farewell Party for nearly 100 international students, marking the end of their academic journey at Thammasat University.  The event was held at the elegant Riverside Room of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammasat-Tha Prachan, offering guests a picturesque view of the Chaophraya River. 

     The evening began with a warm welcome from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreedee Rittironk, the Vice Rector for International Affairs, who encouraged students to cherish the memories and friendships they had made during their time at Thammasat University. Joining the Vice Rector in welcoming attendees was Dr. Usanee Patapsikij Lertrattanon, Assistant to the Rector for International Affairs, who also extended her appreciation and well-wishes to the attendees. 

     The festivities kicked off with a group photo to commemorate the occasion, followed by a lively game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. The game not only sparked laughter but also encouraged decision-making, strategic thinking, and social bonding among participants.

     As night fell, students were treated to a flavorful Thai-style dinner, enjoyed alongside friendly conversation and the serene nighttime view of the Chaophraya River. The atmosphere was one of warmth, camaraderie and celebration. A lucky draw added extra excitement to the evening, with students winning unique Thammasat-themed memorabilia as prizes.

     The Summer Vibe Farewell Party served as both a joyous send-off and a celebration of the international students’ remarkable journey at Thammasat University — an evening of gratitude, reflection, and lasting connections.

กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ จัดกิจกรรมอำลานักศึกษาต่างชาติ ภาคเรียนที่ 2/2567

     กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ จัดกิจกรรมอำลานักศึกษาต่างชาติ ภายใต้ธีม ‘ความสุขสดใสในฤดูร้อน’ โดยมีนักศึกษาต่างชาติเกือบ 100 คน เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเพื่อการฉลองการสิ้นสุดการศึกษาที่ธรรมศาสตร์ ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศภาพวิวสวยงามของแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา เมื่อวันที่ 8 พฤษภาคม 2568 ณ ห้องริมน้ำ คณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์

     รศ. ดร.สุปรีดี ฤทธิรงค์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ กล่าวเปิดงานและสนับสนุนให้นักศึกษาเก็บความทรงจำที่งดงามและมิตรภาพที่ดีระหว่างเรียนที่ธรรมศาสตร์ พร้อมนี้ ดร.อุษณีษ์ ปฐพีศรีกิจส เลิศรัตนานนท์ ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ร่วมกล่าวยินดีและให้กำลังใจนักศึกษเช่นกัน 

     กิจกรรมในงานมีการถ่ายรูปหมู่เพื่อเป็นที่ระลึก ร่วมเล่นเกมเป่ายิ้งฉุบด้วยความสนุกสนาน และกระชับความสัมพันธ์ผ่านการการใช้ไหวพริบ พร้อมร่วมรับประทานอาหารเย็น ภายใต้สีสันแห่งค่ำคืนริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา และยังมีกิจกรรมจับฉลากเพื่อรับรางวัลพิเศษเอกลักษณ์ธรรมศาสตร์ที่จัดทำขึ้นโดยเฉพาะ เพิ่มสีสันและความตื่นเต้นของงาน

     กิจกรรมครั้งไม่ใช่เป็นเพียงการอำลานักศึกษาต่างชาติเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นค่ำคืนแห่งความทรงจำอันงดงาม ความสัมพันธ์ที่แน่นแฟ้นและมิตรภาพที่ยั่งยืน ซึ่งนักศึกษาต่างชาติจะจดจำช่วงเวลาที่พิเศษ ขณะมาศึกษา ณ ธรรมศาสตร์ตลอดไป
